I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Munich Re (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Interview on campus was about 30 minutes Long. Most of the questions were personality base and hence easy to answer if you know yourself well enough. It was a good learning experience for me.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Munich Re (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2017
Interview
Multi step interview, starting with online application, phone interview, in-person interview, etc. Fantastic location in downtown Toronto if that is something that appeals to you. I was impressed from what I had personally experienced (ex. company culture and benefits). Interview difficulty I would say was pretty average compared to other actuary positions.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Munich Re (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2017
Interview
An online skills test (basic math, logic, English language skills, timed) was followed the next day by a phone interview with HR. This was followed by an interview with manager (direct supervisor of the position) the next week, which was followed by a second interview with the executive for the department and VP of HR a week after that. I was told all offers are conditional upon a background, reference, and credit check.
