I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NCR Corporation in Sep 2019
Interview
I applied online and heard back from a recruiter the next business day, asking to set up a phone screening. The interview was about 20 minutes, maybe 3-4 questions. Essentially, it was just a screening inquiring about my education, a project of interest, and a company culture question. I was selected for a virtual phone interview 3 weeks later with the position's manager. This interview was much less structured and followed a general portfolio review. 2 weeks later, I was informed I was not selected to move forward.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NCR Corporation (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2019
Interview
I got an email from the University recruitment inviting me to NCR headquarter in Atlanta. I lived in Charlotte(NC). so when I ask will I get any Travel assistance/Reimbursment, they said no.
The interview was supposed to start at 9 am and had 2 interviews of 45 mins each. My interviewer did not show up until 9.35 and once he came to the room he told me to start whiteboarding. I had less than 25 mins to complete the whiteboard questions (it was supposed to finish at 9.45 originally). I was able to solve most of the things he asked in this limited time. Because of delay my second interview also started late and I had only 30 mins to talk with the interviewer as well. this time it was more of a technical/behavioral interview.
I ask them multiple times we started late do you have enough information ? or I can give one more round before I had to take my bus since it is not possible for me to come again to Atlanta by my own just for one more round, (According to them they don't do any online rounds)
10 days later I got reject with no feedback. Really bad experience. even after traveling on my own this far they did not have the courtesy to give the feedback. I would suggest anyone outside of Atlanta not to apply to this company. the reason is they told me in the quote "We do not accept students outside of Atlanta (for Atlanta office) 99% because we want to hire only local students." why they invited me if this was the case. I really don't know.

Question 1
print most frequent same word/character in the string with the total count
Firstly, I still want to work for this firm and I always have wanted to, they have nice offices, good brand etc. The recruiter was very dim though, hasn't lasted long, kept calling me sometimes by accident too many times and emails. Wasted my fares, money, time etc. Someone was meant to join who didn't and I can understand why. There's no handover or training at all, I can see why people felt that it'll be hard to join just like that as it wouldn't be fair, even though every other big firm even regardless of size, would allow training, everywhere else plans this ahead and also it means that the new person will wait ages to join therefore would be looking around elsewhere where there's training which is what happened. She seemed sooo overly keen for me to come in asap then and there without notice, when I could've been given notice, yet coming in then she was not interested at all... It shouldn't be up to the person leaving, whether to do 0 handover or not... how daft.
