I applied online. I interviewed at NCR Corporation (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
A HR contacted me for an on-site interview. I paid for the flight and hotel on my own. No difficult questions asked, mainly to see if the personality fit the team. Never got a response from either the hiring manager or the recruiter. Even an official letter would make me feel respected
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NCR Corporation (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2019
Interview
They arrived at campus for a recruiting event, and I got the opportunity to interview at their HQ by going to this event. The on sight interview consisted of two 45-minute interviews with hiring managers and then a brief tour of the building. The interview questions were technical (relating to the language of your choice) but also high level questions about important CS topics. They also ask algorithm based coding questions where you can use either psuedo-code or a language of your choice.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NCR Corporation (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I got the onsite opportunity from a university career fair, then they scheduled me an onsite interview at NCR HQ 2 weeks later.
Interviewees are divided into small groups, each group has 6 people. First they brought us in and toured NCR building a bit, then I did two interviews with two hiring managers, each with 45mins. I bascially aced all the questions they asked me, then it took them 2 weeks to let me know the rejection. Reason is 'the application pool is deep'.
Its all about luck, even i am fully prepared, even the 2 hrs are very happy and satisfied with my answers.
