It was a panel interview set for 30 minutes. There was no time spent going over my background - "since we have your resume, we know your background already". It was a brief overview of the company, the close process, and a technical "pop quiz". Right there on the spot, so have a calculator handy! They explained that this quiz is because "the ability to have critical thinking skills is super important at this company". If you do good, I assume you go to a second round. If you lack critical thinking skills (as I apparently do), they will tell you they are "still interviewing others" and "have a hard stop" and end the interview almost immediately. As an aside, I studied the business in some depth prior to the interview, and feel like I knew as much about the structure of the business as the interviewers did. At the end, they said if I had any other questions, I could reach out to them directly, but they didn't provide their contact information. The whole experience seemed unnecessarily aggressive, and in hindsight, I think I dodged a bullet.
