I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Nov 2023
Interview
It was supposed a virtual interview with one individual for around an hour. They used a program akin to Zoom, but it did not work for my interviewee, so he just called me instead.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Went through key points on my resume. I was going for a compE internship, so they also asked some conceptual programming questions (explain inheritance, polymorphism, oop, etc.)
The interview was good. They didn't ask very technical questions but went into great detail about my resume in asking about the stuff on it. The interviewer was respectful and stone-faced; it was hard to gauge emotion. They asked about the depth of my schooling experience and where I see myself form within the company. Unfortunately, I didn't have the self-confidence to negotiate, and they started me at a mid-20s salary for a computer engineering internship.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Melbourne, FL) in Sep 2024
Interview
My process may have been a little different, because I was invited for an interview from an organization, but we just sat down and went through my resume and asked a couple of behavioral questions.
