Sincerely surprised and disappointed with NG’s recruiting efforts. It took months to receive answers on three applications. If that’s how you operate and will bet the company is in trouble, short of talent to deliver on contracts. As a Hiring Manager I know first hand that the Defense Industry is in critical need of good candidates. NG is a well established company hence I am truly surprised of your poor recruiting performance.
Applied online. Got contacted by HR to schedule a virtual interview. As she requested, I provided dates and times that work. In a span of 2 weeks, that same recruiter scheduled 2 interviews I did not confirm, seemingly avoiding the dates/times I had provided earlier! The first time, she called me an hour earlier to "confirm" the interview. I just reminded her that I did not confirm an interview that day, and that I was not available per dates/times shared earlier. The second time, I received a voicemail from a hiring manager; it went: "It's now 6 minutes past, wondering if you still plan to join the call...". What? She did it again? I returned the hiring manager's call, told him I did not have an interview scheduled that day, at least not one I confirmed. Told him this was the second time this recruiter, whose name HE brought up to confirm, scheduled interviews for me without my awareness. Couple days later, my application status changed to, "No longer in consideration". It's mutual!
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview was one interview that was over MS Teams. The interviewer forgot about the interview so I had to message the recruiter to see what was wrong and the person emailed me later to do a interview on the spot. I did the interview over the phone and they asked a lot of C/C++ technical questions
