I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Redondo Beach, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
Applied online, and had a HR representative call me the next day to schedule a phone interview. The call with HR was very abrupt and she hung up before I could ask relevant questions about the role. HR informed me I would be having an interview with the hiring manager. When I call in, turns out it’s a panel interview with 4 engineers instead who all asked very technical questions, which took me by surprise. The position was falsely advertised as a telecommuting position, but required full time in the office with lots of travel.
After the interview I got a call from the recruiter to discuss my salary expectations and received an offer a few days later. I declined since the position was not what I thought it would be and the team wasn’t a good fit.

In depth technical questions about experiences on my resume.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Jun 2022
Interview
Phone interview with 6 employees, lasting about 45 minutes. All of the questions were about personal qualities, work/education experience, and my interests. They seemed much more interested in getting to know me than grilling me with technical questions.

Question 1
Name a time that you had trouble working with someone on a team, and how you handled the situation.
3 rounds with talking about scenarios. It was overall a very long interview process but could be worth it if you get the job. They are very goal orientated. It seemed like a great company to be working for but unfortunately the pay was too low for the position.
