I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Jun 2021
Interview
The process is that you answer a questionnaire from HR, then you have a phone discussion about the questionnaire, and you have a zoom interview with a panel. After the interview, it's about 2-3 weeks to hear a decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There are seven questions in total from each panel member. I remember the six below:
-Name a time you had to build trust on a team?
-Where have you had to use innovation to improve performance?
-How have you helped someone professionally develop?
-When have you used data to solve a business problem?
-How have you worked together with a group or person when it was difficult? How did you solve this?
-How have you been able to get things done where there was unnecessary bureaucracy making things difficult?
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Dec 2017
Interview
Friendly interviewers. Really welcoming. Asked about personal experiences. Asked some technical questions. Make sure to prepare. Rehearse your experiences, possibly do a mock interview with other professionals. Should be relatively straightforward.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (New York, NY)
Interview
Panel interview. Pretty straightforward. Looked for technical understandings and asked behavioral questions.
Panel was very interested in previous projects and asked questions from every angle.
Interviewers were quick to build rapport and destress the entire interview.
