I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Sacramento, CA)
Interview
Met with three two managers and two software engineers. Really pleasant experience, they were mostly interested about my experiences in undergrad, and the courses I took. Asked a few technical questions that were out of the scope of my education such as the software life cycle, but I prepared for these questions ahead of time and nailed them.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (El Segundo, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
I had an on campus interview where I got to tour the facilities at El Segundo and Redondo Beach. Very fun and interactive. Sat down and questioned only for about 30 min. The rest was tours of the amazing facilities and talking about what the job entails.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
Interview was fair. The interview wasn't too technical. There were a lot of behavioral questions, mainly asking about your personality and what you would do in certain situations. Didn't get an offer but thought that the interview went pretty well. The interviewer seemed well informed and could answer all the questions I had regarding the internship.
