I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Bellevue, NE) in Nov 2010
Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter. Then she briefly explained the job and its compensation then set up an interview for me.
The interviewers first described the job; what is it about? what is a daily work cycle? Then they asked about my background; what had I done so far? what did I do in my previous/current jobs/research position? No technical questions were asked.
Followed up by the recruiter, she said I did a good job in the interview and they would extend me an offer. No negotiation was done. The offer was given a few days after the interview.

Question 1
What was the least fun part of my previous work/research experience?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Fort Meade, MD) in Jan 2010
Interview
I was referred to a recruiter for the company from a friend. The recruiter set me up with a "job-fair" type of interview. I went in and their were about 15 different managers there from different projects. The ones that were thought to be early matches for me had copies of my resume. I sat down with about 5 managers, where they told me about the projects. I talked to them about my experience, but no technical questions were asked.
