I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at PTC (Needham, MA)

Long. I was a referral from a current employee and I was passed around to 6 different executives to interview with because I had such good initial interviews. Every time I made it through to the final interview, there was some reason as to why they did not hire me, but would pass me to the next executive to see if I would be a good fit with them. Finally, I was told by my recruiter that they were "still waiting for an answer". This was back in November 2017. Still haven't heard anything back after multiple emails sent following up. I was qualified for the job and had a referral, so this was very unexpected and extremely unprofessional.

First round: Multiple choice coding questions along with aptitude questions. Second round: Technical interview with a panel of 2 interviewers. Third Round: Managerial interview 1:1. I got the confirmation and offer letter was sent within a week.

I got a call from the Talent management team of PTC for interview invitation. There was 4 rounds of interview. 1. Quantitative and Technical Aptitude Test 2. Technical interview 3. Managerial interview 4. HR interview

Question 1

In Aptitude test, mostly question were asked on Trains, time and distance, pattern analysis and probability. In Technical interview, they asked question related to Exception handling, Linked List, Binary search algorithm and other basic Java questions. Interviewers were not so skilled and I did very well in the Technical interview. After technical interview, one of the interviewer came to me and said "We are looking for more experienced candidate". I had 2.3 years of experience till that day. My concern is why did they invite me for the interview if they wanted to hire a more experienced candidate. It was really a disappointing experience.
