Applied through Linkedin. Overall process took 1 month.
Firstly received an email from HR regarding a confirmation of salary expectations which was found higher than what the role was offering.
Followed by the First stage Teams interview with Lead and Senior Engineer to present a design portfolio.
Been invited to a factory tour and visited the manufacturing lines.
On-site second stage interview: Presented the same portfolio to the panel, technical and standart HR questions.
Overall feedback was positive which gave me the impression of I was the right fit. However, I received the outcome as being unsuccessful at the end of all stages.

I applied online. I interviewed at Panasonic in Jan 2024
Interview
Probably one of my worst interviews as a woman in STEM. The interviewee spent more time asking me questions on how I would fit in with the company given it is majorly male, rather than asking regular behavioral or technical questions. He mentioned I am the only woman he is interviewing and that the room he was currently in was full of men (he genuinely said that). It was a very awkward experience and I would not encourage women to apply.
