Interview
The account executive role is deeply involved in sales and the hiring managers we’re looking for candidate to showcase their sales skills. Essentially, the interview was set up as a mock sales call where the candidate must try and close the hiring manager. The product/service to sell in the interview is totally given at random and they want candidates to gather information from the prospect (hiring manager) and use it to persuade them to buy said product/service. Ask lots of questions to understand your target market and then find the key points / needs and try to close the deal. Confidence is key in the interview.
Quick, two total. One phone screen with HR and one teams call with management. Very conversational and straight forward, asked about experience and selling style. Nothing out of the normal. Got back to me when they said they would.
Pretty easy. Asked alot about sales. Said earning potential was high. Must go into the office at least 3 days per week. I'd like to use this role as an opportunity to move into the organizaton more.
