I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Sacramento, CA) in Jan 2011
Interview
I applied for this position online and received an E-mail back within a couple days. They asked me to set up a phone interview, which consisted of just going over the requirements of the position and if I wanted to continue with the process. Then they had me set up an in-person interview, all of this automated mind you (selecting time and date via a website). My interview was about a week and a half after it was scheduled. It included 6 questions; 3 based on "Why Pepsi" and what I expected from the job, and 3 based on situations:
1) Describe a time when you turned a customer with negative rapport into a positive situation.
2) Describe a time where you had to determine a persons needs versus what they wanted.
3) Describe a time when you had to learn a new skill on the job and apply it.

Interview
I first saw pepsico when I was a sophomore in college and by the time my senior year came around I was very interested in meeting with them. They were creating a very good fast track program to upper management and I was interested. Nothing really came out of it.
