The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2010
Interview
The first interview was on campus. It consisted of questions from 3 interviews. The questions were all about my previous project experience. For example, tell me about a time where you were facing a deadline you knew you couldn't make. What did you do? How did people react? There were about 15 questions of this nature. I was contacted by email for a video conference interview which consisted of the same questions from the original interview.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo in Sep 2010
Interview
Conducted by external recruiter. Recruiter was unable to specify job requirements or reporting structure with any degree of accuracy, though she said she believed the job involved "supporting" the chairman's communications needs. She was unable to identify the chairman by name. When I followed up, she advised me that she thought the job had been filled. I asked if she could confirm, and heard no more.

Interview
Submitted resume online and received a phone call for a brief 15 minute phone interview to sort through to the next level. The next step consisted of an in person interview that lasted about 1-1.5 hours. Depending on the person, the interview can be with multiple people. The next step was a phone call with an offer of estimated salary and start date.
