The process took 4 months. I interviewed at PepsiCo in Oct 2007
Interview
The first interview was an on-campus interview. I went through the campus interview process, then an assessment test online. After passing the online test had a route ride job shadowing day to get a feel for the job. I was then was asked to visit the headquarters for a second round of interviews consisted of three 30-minute interviews in which I learned about different positions available within the Operations department to have another interview with a zone manager. This interview consisted of behavioral-based questions (like "How do you deal with conflict?" and "What is your greatest achievement?").
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Kansas City, MO) in Dec 2009
Interview
To start there was a somewhat lengthy online application to fill out which included a personality test. If requirements were met then you would receive an e-mail to join an informational interview where a presenter tells you amongst a group of candidates what the job entails detail by detail about a week or two later. At the end of the informational group interview you sign up for a time to be interviewed by two district managers at the same time. After a week they would contact you let you know if you made it to the next interview which is by the regional sales managers. Should you pass that then pending a drug (hair follicle) and background check you will be made the offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a situation you regret where you may have forgot to do something and what was the outcome?
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Topeka, KS) in Sep 2009
Interview
Before interviewing with Frito Lay, I heard stories of Frito Lay not reimbursing people for mileage, food, etc, on their trips to the plant. I was a bit apprehensive about the possibility of not receiving a reimbursement check (after driving 7 hours each way), but figured that Frito Lay was a responsible company and they'd be able to take care of their own finances. I guess I was wrong.
Frito Lay came to my school to recruit. I was very interested in the company because I know people who work there and enjoy their jobs, so I submitted my resume. I heard back from them soon after, notifying me they'd like for me to visit the facilities in Topeka, KS and continue with the interviewing process... and no one told me what position I'd be interviewing for, so I waited. They were very uninformative. There was a group of 30 of us that flew or drove in for dinner for the first evening (paid for by the company, of course), where we were able to meet a few of the employees and managers. Dinner was very awkward. The next day, we had a facility tour and two long interviews.
The interviews seemed fine; however, Frito Lay was supposed to give us our reimbursement checks for mileage, food, etc. Most of us are anticipating about $250-350 for reimbursement and we haven't received it yet. As full-time college students, it's really difficult to be able to make ends meet when we're expected to drive 7 hours one way, completely out of pocket, and drive the entire way back. Our interivews were TWO MONTHS ago. They had originally notified us that our reimbursement checks would arrive within 4 weeks, and maybe 6 weeks at the absolute latest. It's been 8 weeks, and this is outrageous. They apparently have had to REPROCESS the paperwork so we can get reimbursed. How is this company supposed to be able to thrive and be able to hire new talent if they can't even balance a checkbook??
I'm thankful I've accepted a job elsewhere and that I'm not working for a company that doesn't issue reimbursement checks.
