Interview
You'll be taken to the canteen, waiting time about 10-25mins. First time when I was interviewed I had to wait 25min and the second time was about 10 mins. Make sure to keep your papers ready, firstly the NI and the ID keep it in hand ready to hand over when the interviewer asks your name. Smiling is very important, but not too much. Watch out for which words you use during the interview for example if you previously worked as a team never say, you told one of the team members to do something. Say you have discussed with the team member and found a solution to a problem, hope that makes sense. Body language is important as well so try to be positive. Also, be professional. Don't use slangs it's not yep it's yes. Although during the interview make sure that you stay as normal as possible and don't give the interviewer the impression that you're just reading out from a script although that might be the case as you would have your preparation, make it sounds like your having a conversation. Also When you first time get welcomed at the reception you might meet one of the managers so make sure to be nice with them as well but don't expect that they will do the same. First time I had a manager that came and took me inside the canteen but never said a word just movement of the head and wasn't so friendly. But the second time was a different person and was friendly. So it depends on the person but makes sure to be nice from your end no matter what others does. Be confident and don't be shy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself? Tell me when you have worked as a team? Can you list your strengths?
A customer wants a dress displayed at the window but it's out of stock what would you do?
In the fitting room, there's a long queue and one of the customers starting to complain about the queue. You're working in one of the tables next to it, what would you do to solve the situation?
When answering about the out of stock question do not say you will keep the details of the customer and ask them to collect it. Primark does not do that as it's a big organization.
