I applied online. I interviewed at Primark (Southampton, England) in Jul 2017
Interview
I was sent 2 emails. One was by the company and the other was a representative of the store I applied for. Irritatingly, the representative from the store misunderstood my name but I didn't take it as anything major. In the email from the company, I was asked to provide my Right to Work documents and a copy of my CV. In the email from the store, I was asked to provide my Right to Work documents and a passport sized photo. I was confused so took both.
Upon my arrival, (As I was told in the email) I went to the Customer Service desk where I was asked to sign in providing my mobile number, name, reason and time in. I was also given a Visitor Pass before being escorted to the top floor where I was asked to take a seat and wait. It was the rest area where other members of staff were and looked like a nice area.
I had my interview with a nice woman and was escorted out of the place before returning to the Customer Service area to sign out and return my Visitor Pass.

Interview
It was very laid back the manager was great and tried to make the process seem as relaxed and informal as possible, they asked some basic things like when can you work and do you have any holiday booked then moved on to more scenario based questions.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and why do you want to work for Primark?
The customer likes the dress you have found her as a substitute and want to try it on. The changing room queues are very long and they don't want to wait. What would you do?

Interview
I arrived in the morning, had to sign in and was escorted by another member of staff. From here I waited 5-10 minutes to be seen, the manager asked why I wanted to work there, what I do right now and gave a list of scenarios that I had to rate importance (1-5). Overall, it was a very relaxed experience, staff make you feel comfortable and put at ease.
