I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primark (Swansea, Wales) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online and then had a call inviting me to interview. I was told to go to the customer service desk where I was then taken to the staff canteen to wait. After about 5 minutes the HR manager came and took me to her office for the interview. I was asked about my availability (even though I'd already given that info on my application) and then was asked a few personal questions, then 4 questions that asked for examples of when I'd worked as a team etc. The interviewer was nice and it felt quite relaxed. What frustrated me was that it was only at the end of the interview that she told me the hours that the role was for, which are hours that won't suit me at all. I wouldn't have bothered with the whole process if I'd known exactly what hours they were looking for. Waiting to hear if I was successful at the interview (she said it might be about a week before I hear) but will most likely have to turn it down if I'm offered a job.
