In general, the whole process is slow, can take up to 3 or 4 months, I hear they are trying to speed this process up, but not sure if this will be actualized. Even if you are being referred by internal employee, you are also required to go through the same process to complete the submission.
You are required to apply on the P&G system, so create a username and password for yourself on the recruitment link, fill up the entire form, which consists of many different sections, such as personal details, academic information, academic achievements and any extra-curricular activities, if you have any internship/empolyment experience, do add. There are some additional questions that asked you to give examples of leadership, (these questions are related to the required skills for your role that you are applying for) so do quote recent examples. Include a cover letter and resume. You can save it halfway through and return to this at any moment in time. It may take you up to a good 35 to 45mins to fill it up.
If you are selectd for the next process, you will be requested to fill up an assessment link. The assessment tests consists of two parts, one is on reasoning, reasoning is like numerical test, but also logical tests. The logical questions, are to deduce the next patterns, spotting the patterns, and are something of a combination of reasoning and maths skills questions. Challenging but I enjoyed doing them.
Based on the total respondents who have completed the assessment, they would cut off a certain amount of people and invite them for an interview. The first interview was with a current brand manager, who will ask you about your background, why you want to be in this role, and asks you to give specific examples on leadership, ownership, innovative, passion for winning, adaptive to change/flexibility... they are actually prompting you on the three values in P&G, power of minds, power of people, and power of agility. And the key is to be specific here, to give as much details and elaborate an example you can, the brand manager will also prompt you, like....? pls tell me more.... please share exactly what you did.... You can feel that in P&G, they call for actions and accountability, and very sociable people that will awe you.
If you pass the first round of interview, you will be shortlisted to join the second round of panel interview, the panel consist of three interviewers, in my case it was 2 brand managers + 1 Assistant Marketing Director, one of them will be the lead interviewer who leads with the questioning and the other two will add on with further questions if any, also asking you based on similar structures as the first interview, brief introduction, warm up questions, examples of leadership, innovation, passion for winning, adaptive to change, describe your examples as detail as possible and give recent examples as far as possible, it is OK to repeat the examples you have shared in the first interview. stay calm and confident. they will end off with opening questions to you. The culture you can feel is open, challenging but also competitive and aggressive even just experiencing the interview.
Good luck.
