The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble in Jan 2011
Interview
Started with an on campus interview with a current R&D researcher. I was told prior to attending the on-campus interview to fill out the specific job posting on their website and to complete an online questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of more behavioral based questions and was not difficult at all. At the time he told me that they were looking to hire approx. 140 Ph. D. level candidates within the next year. The interview lasted approx. 45 minutes and consisted of typical questions for this type of interview.
I was then told that I would be contacted for an over the phone interview. The phone interview contained questions that were somewhat similar to the in-person interview. At the conclusion of the phone interview I asked when I would be contacted regarding the next step in the process, and the interviewer told me right then that I had made it to the next round and was invited for the on-site interview.
