I applied online. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Feb 2020
Interview
Started with a 30 minute phone screen and received an email a couple days later about attending a hiring event. I was flown out to the location to interview with different departments including the role I initially interviewed for. It was a great experience and I was able to go with the role that most suited my skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at RTX in Jan 2019
Interview
Good interview. Phone interview, then in person interview a few days later in front of a panel of four. The interview was not hard. Technical questions to make sure they get the right candidate for the job.
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at RTX (El Segundo, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Took approx. 7 months to complete before I actually started working (this is how "fast" things work in this industry). Obtaining a clearance is a long process, if you do not currently possess one. Once you are in, there is a sense of being "safe" in this industry. With that being said, it can be a double edge sword. If you find yourself being a person to play things safe, then this is for you. Contrary, if you are an individual who likes to work hard, take chances, and play harder- then this slow moving industry is not for you.
