I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX (Richardson, TX) in Mar 2018
Interview
Met with a recruiter at a career fair and was given a requisition number to apply to and an email to email once I had applied.
After doing so a few weeks passed with no updates. Then I attended another career fair that Raytheon was hosting themselves. I met with someone I knew from the prior career fair and they got me a soft interview on site.
The hiring manager talked to me at the fair and asked me to submit some things for verification (transcript etc) and said they would get back to me.
About a week after that I got an email to set up an interview.
The interview was about an hour long and consisted of technical questions and conversations. I was asked to explain some projects from my GitHub and was asked about several programming concepts (mainly OOP).
A week or two after that I received an offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX (Boston, MA) in Nov 2014
Interview
It was like speed dating interviewing to ensure you were placed in the correct area. Employees were moved from one table of panel interviewers to another and were matched according to their resume.
