I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RTX (Boston, MA) in Nov 2015
Interview
I was interviewed by two managers at once, for slightly different positions. The interview was fairly straightforward, with basic questions about my resume, really just seeing if I was a good fit for the position based on my background and career goals. Nothing too technical. The interview went well, the managers seemed to like my credentials, and I followed up soon afterwards. A few weeks went by, and upon contacting the managers again, they informed me that they hired somebody else.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX (Forest, MS) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied online through their website. 3 weeks later, I was emailed by an HR representative about conducting a remote interview through a service called hireRight that would record my interview using preset questions. After this was submitted, another month passed for a total of 7 weeks before I was called by the hiring manager and invited for an onsite interview.

Interview
I spoke to representatives at a SHPE National Conference. From there I applied online. Got a phone interview about 3 weeks later. After phone interview I went in for an in person interview/tour of the facilities which they offered to fly me in but I lived close enough to just drive there. Interview/tour lasted about 3 hours.

Question 1
Went line by line down resume. Asked about past projects. Simple stuff like "name a time when you had to work as a team" or "Tell us about a time when a project went wrong, and how did you attempt to fix it"
