I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX in Sep 2014
Interview
Interviewer contacted me to set up an interview for the following week. As part of the conversation, the interviewer was going to send an email with the specifics. In addition, the interview was to include a facility tour following the interview. Two days prior to the interview, I had not received the email. I diligently tracked down the interviewer and obtained the specifics. The interview was informal. It was more conversational than your typical question and answer interview. Unfortunately, the tour did not take place as indicated in the initial conversation because the interviewer did not have the appropriate footwear. At the conclusion of the interview, the panel did communicate that a selection would be made the following week and I should be notified of the outcome. Immediately following the interview, I received an email inquiring about my salary requirement, which one could perceive as a positive indicator. I had not received any correspondences for two weeks, so I sent a polite follow-up email. Approximately five and half week later, I received an email from the interviewer that I was not selected. I sent an email inquiring about setup a feedback meeting/phone conversation, but did not receive a response.

Describe your math background. What are your technical strengths?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at RTX in Jan 2013
Interview
The initial interview process was very quick and very simple. A single HR phone interview and then another with my technical manager. I took an internship with Raytheon and enjoyed the work I did but found that their culture was very old fashion compared to the regular Software Engineering culture today.

Question 1
No difficult technical questions and mostly consisted of HR questions and how well you would work with others based on your past work.
