A quick chat to ensure that I could carry out the job required. Also asking the hours and shifts that I would be willing to work and whether I had any holiday booked. They also had a look at my school grades to make sure I had the required results.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SPAR (Plymouth, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
Very friendly manager and assistant manager had interviewed me. It was very positive experience and it was fairly easy to get through. The manager was very clear about their expectations and made everything sound easy and understandable. My role was explained and it felt like a relaxed conversation. I was approached very friendly and it made it much easier - did not feel stressful at all, very relaxed, chilled.

Interview
I was invited for an interview which turned out not to be an interview. I arrived and was taken to the office. I was asked what hours and when I would be able to start so I said immediately. The manager took my details and set about getting my uniform and then said to me what days I could be put in for that week and then that was it. Shook his hand and that was the end of that and I had a job.
