With a company as big as salesforce you would expect them to be more transparent and give candidates a fair chance. I will also say i have never been this frustrated with any process in my whole life and ive interviewed and worked for the big dogs (oracle, IBM etc).
The process started with 2 phones calls with recruiters, followed by another phone interview with hiring manager, then a on-site interview with 2 hiring managers followed by a in person presentation.
I dont understand, if they did not like me the first couple of rounds it would be much nicer and easier on everyone to reject from there. But after the presentation, i closed the VP and he said i cannot provide feedback. i pushed harder as you would from any AE and he persisted. not giving me an opportunity to address his concerns. I was told right after the interview from the recruiter saying they thought it went well and that they have sat in on many interviews and thought it went well and would call me shortly, just to never hear from them. I was then told i did not get the job. I have never in my life been more frustrated and disappointed. This is coming from someone that has 5 years of SaaS experience president club winner and all.
Then when asking feedback they said the following "it was the little things, they said you said uh and um too many times". Really? i do presentation for a living. I even presented them with a 90 day plan which was not required along with my numbers. This step was not required. Its like you need to be a brain surgeon to get in. You cannot expect candidates to be perfect. I know it was something at the end because with the hiring manager i had already done 3 interviews, it was the VP in specific.
Actually give candidates an opportunity to do good work before writing them off especially when said candidate is a multiple president club winner. If you do decide to reject have the decency to give feedback so candidates can build on it dont make this a one way street only.
Thank you for sharing your experience and bringing this to our attention. I have shared your feedback with our sales recruiting team. We strive to give meaningful feedback to each candidate. Should you consider interviewing with us again in the future, I trust that you'll have a better candidate experience. We appreciate the opportunity to reeducate our teams on the importance of transparent and timely communication throughout the process. Best of luck with your search.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and well organized. It consists of 4 parts:
1) Initial Phone Screen from corporate staffing to discuss your experience
2) Follow-up Phone Screening with a Talent Advisor who will make sure you're a good fit and they will stay with you through the remainder of the process
3) Interview on-site with two managers, why salesforce, why you, how does your experience relate?
4) On-Site presentation to 2-3 managers. The objective is to make sure you can present, take direction and sell. Your Talent Advisor will help prepare you for steps 3&4.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY)
Interview
Very noble process. They are prompt and cultural based in regards to interview questions. They are looking for *fit* and who you are as an individual, which I respect. If you are what they are looking for, everyone will role out the red carpet for you to get your new position.
Great experience from start to finish!
