The interview process is tedious, you go through a few rounds and have to do a 45 minute presentation to the hiring managers showcasing your skills and experience in sales
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salesforce (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Pretty standard process, though a bit slow to get started. Started with a recruiter screening, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person with that hiring manager and a couple reps on the team. Last piece was an on-site presentation selling yourself professionally/personally as well as the product you are applying for.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2023
Interview
It was good at the beginning, I just had one interview with a “Talent Attraction Partner” and then rejected for the role because they needed someone with more experience in full cycle Saas sales. Everything is easy, the usual interview questions. However, something that I didn’t like it is that the person who scheduled my first interview sent me an email changing the date of the meeting because they was going to be out of office that week. I re-scheduled the meeting but anyways they called me the day that was at first. I wasn’t expecting the call but I took it (my bad?). The bad thing about this is that I always prepare for every interview and I didn’t had the chance to prepare for this one because of that bad communication we had :( My recommendation: confirm with your interviewer the day before the meeting so you can be prepared.
