General questions related to previous profile and industrial automation. My strengths and weekness. Interviewer explained about the profile and the expectations and asked to explain how well I can fit to that.

applied from campus, telephonic interview. I was asked all the basic questions from the mechanical design field. Later my resume was reviewed. i was initially asked to introduce myself, don't say anything irrelevant to your job objective in your resume. Being confident, honest about things you don't know and knowing the fundamental basics well for the field you are applying for, seemed to do the trick.
