Initial general interview, then they move you to a second. First interview was fine. The second interview was pretty bad though. Low professionalism throughout - didnt even bother to turn on his camera, which I didn't mind too much, but also didn't seem to be listening to my answers or even caring much at all.
By the end of the interview, he just said I should learn more about what an SDR position is and think about if I'm ready to go through rejection. I probably mentioned rejection about ten times during the interview and knew about the role and the company. I completely understand if ServiceTitan is quite simply looking for more specific experience in a candidate, but the way this interview went was pretty ridiculous.
The interviewer repeated that the "tech space" is going through tough times like 3 times during the interview. I get it, I can read the news if i want to hear that. That's obviously not a very inspiring thing to say during the interview anyways. Why would you lead with that? By the time the second interview was over, I realized I probably wouldn't have even wanted to work at Servicetitan anyways, because it was a waste of time to speak with a disengaged interviewer. He also set up a cold call exercise and said "nobody gets this". This is probably the only company that sets up a cold call exercise just to get aspiring candidates to fail!
Finally, the second interviewer said they would get back to me no matter what, and they never did. I don't expect all companies to get back to me after rejection, but why be dishonest with me?
