ServiceTitan Staff Software Engineer interview questions

I have conducted a lot of interviews. I have a conversation with the candidate and pick their brain on software engineering principals. I do not ask obscure questions nor do I try to ask questions outside their day to day. First round was with a company recruiter. The second round was with 2 senior software engineers. The engineers were void of personality. They made no social engagement nor did they have any small talk. In my opinion, they were horrible. They had an already answered test that was completed for them. The answer was incremented on to be nearly perfect as can be. I made it through the first exam and half way through the second. They did not ask me about my experiences. They did not ask me any information about what I do on a daily basis.

Interview process consisted of pair programming session with one interviewer in a browser-integrated environment (somewhat between Notepad++ and Visual Studio). Huge attention was paid to the knowledge of Data Structures in .NET. Also need to consider memory management, avoid memory leaks in the implementations and pay attention to algorithm complexity as well. Cons: interviewers know the problem in detail, so all the weak points for the solution that applicant may have. Mostly difficult to cover all the aspects in such time frame.
