Interview
The interview process was a little lengthy, but they're very keen on hiring for cultural fit. I applied online and was asked to complete some writing tasks the next day. This was quickly followed by a phone screen, a phone interview with the regional manager, and then a round of face to face interviews with the team in their office. Each touchpoint was well communicated via email.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied online. Within a couple of days, I heard from Slack with a written test. I then had two phone interviews and a set of in-person interviews. Each interview included questions that would have been difficult to answer if I did not have significant customer support experience.
That said, each interviewer was friendly, supportive and extremely passionate about their job and the company. They care about hiring people who will fit the culture at Slack.
