I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slack in Jul 2018
Interview
Applied on a Saturday, heard back from someone in talent the following Monday.
Scheduled the HR screen for later that week and was given a week to complete the homework. It was an easy three questions on CoderPad.io, but I forgot to add something until afterwards, no offer.

Question 1
Measure the success of [[insert Slack feature here]] using this dataset. Trust nothing.
Submitted the resume, and got an email saying I'm on the next round. Then I got a Codility exercise, 3 tasks to finish in 2 hours. I passed two tasks' tests, but didn't pass the other one.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Slack (Denver, CO) in May 2018
Interview
I applied towards the end of their hiring cycle, so my process was very quick; about a week start to finish. After I submitted my resume, I was contacted to complete a writing assignment. Upon completion of that assignment I had an initial phone interview with the recruiter. That went well and so I had another phone interview set up with the director of Customer Services. That also went well, so the original recruiter invited me to interview onsite (which I did over Zoom since I was out of state at the time). This interview was with 4 different folks for about 30 minutes per person. I completed another writing assignment as part of this final interview. About 3 days after that interview I was given an offer!
