A few rounds, all went super well. The final round we went over on time because we hit it off so well, seemed like a great fit. Followed up multiple times with HR and they just kept saying the hiring person I last interviewed with was out of town and would be back soon. Then got a generic thanks but no thanks. Was overall very odd considering all that we discussed

Interview was for a temp position and moved very quickly. All employees I spoke with were very kind and engaging, but gave specific instructions to wait for a next step to speak with a specific staff member and never followed up or replied to my scheduling emails.
