Interviewed for a mobile engineer position and all interview questions are knowledge based. There was no coding at all. The format is very different from what I experienced at other places.
I applied online. I interviewed at Snap (London, England)
Interview
I only had an HR call where they explained the role and the team they're hiring for, then asked me about my work experience. I was not contacted after that.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Snap (London, England) in Jun 2019
Interview
2 phone interviews and then 6 hours of onsite interview. The onsite consists of 1 presentation.,2 coding, 2 technical and 1 lunch.
Here are some of the unprofessional things I have experienced during my interview process:
1.) It took 1 month to arrange an on-site interview date!
2.) After every single step I had to mail for the results!
3.) In the 6 hour interview they didn't stop asking questions even during lunch which was just plain sandwiches that they have bought before. I couldn't even relax a bit.
4.) Before the interview they didn't even ask if I would want to stay in a hotel since I was living in a different city in the UK. It has been more than 2 weeks and I still didn't receive a reimbursement form and they still haven't paid for my travel costs! let alone anything else! such a shame for a large company like Snap.
