I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
2 phone screenings and 1 in person, everyone was amazing, only the head boss tried everything in her power to throw me off, came in with a bit of attitude and had zero interest in talking. everyone else was awesome
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2018
Interview
Was contacted by a staffing agency and discussed the role with them. Then scheduled an Interview via Google Meet with 2 Snap producers. No one joined on their end. I called the recruiter to confirm the time and date and was later informed that they were stuck in a meeting that ran late. Not sure why they couldn’t send a quick email to let me know. At this point, it was clear that they do not value other peoples time. The interview was rescheduled but what really annoyed me was that they did not apologize for wasting my time the first time around.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Snap
Interview
Started the interview process with a couple phone interviews before being asked to come onsite for a group interview which would also be the final round. The interview process was very quick, took about 3 weeks in total from beginning to final round. After final round, there was silence about the role for over 2 months. The recruiter would reply to follow-up emails saying they needed more time. After 2 months, the news broke publicly that Snap was going through layoffs. The recruiter then called to inform me that the role no longer existed. Definitely a bummer but not the fault of the recruiter-- as the initial interview process was extremely quick and fun (they even gave a swag bag)!
