I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Venice, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I had a phone interview with the recruiter to talk about the position. I then had a phone interview with one of the Ad Operation team members a few days later. Lastly, I was scheduled an in-person interview to meet five different Ad Operation team members. The recruiting team was extremely responsive and easy to talk to. The Ad Operation team was punctual and casual. The team shared a lot of their experience and insight. There were a handful of repeated questions and many different personalities.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Snap
Interview
First call was informational, felt like they already knew they wanted me for next round at that point.
Second call was with manager I was going to report under. 30 mins or so.
Last interview was 4 20 minute interviews back to back. Thought they went well but did not get the offer.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (Venice, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
The process started out with a video hangout interview, followed by onsite where you have 4 technical interviews where one is with a hiring manager, and a lunch interview.
The one relevant thing that I noticed was the interview questions all included some systems design component in addition to the more traditional algorithms interview questions.
