I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Snap in Feb 2024
Interview
Initial conversation with a recruiter, scheduled a technical screen. They canceled one day before, rescheduled for the next week. Next week, I joined the call, waited for 15 minutes and the interviewer just didn't show up! Eventually, they apologized and rescheduled again. Finally, had a screen last week, it went very well, questions were SQL and simple stats, easy level. It look them a week to get back to me only to inform me that I didn't pass. Such a waste of my time! I'd avoid this company honestly.
I interviewed for a contract role, so my experience was a bit different compared to full-time positions. I had a phone screen with the direct manager, and then met with the department head and two different colleagues on the team. It gave me a great and in-depth perspective on what it would be like to work with the team as a whole. Everyone was extremely intelligent, kind and interesting to talk to.

Interview
Started with a recruiter phone screen, then had a 1-hour technical interview that involved some SQL questions and two stats questions. Afterwards had a "virtual on-site" consisting of four 1-hour interviews ranging from behavioral, ML, stats, coding, and experimentation.
