First round was chat with hiring manager about my experience and the role. Second round was typical software engineering coding test - think LC Hard as well as basic ML questions. Next round would have been final round with multiple coding rounds, a math round, and a systems design round.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Common competitive programming problem plus basic machine learning questions
Strange feelings afterwords. Feels like toxic environment behind. Hiring manager says on the interview that you can forget about free evenings, says that you will continue to the next step and then reject via email.

Question 1
Nothing special , average interview questions e.g. tell me about your working experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap in Sep 2023
Interview
They asked me what I’m currently on and what my salary expectations would be. They wanted an inclusive number (with their equity plan). When I asked what their equity plan was, they told me the they can’t disclose it until later but they still wanted a number from me to which I provided one based off a 10k AUD buffer. They then proceeded to put me through 5 rounds of interviews, offered me the job but got a low ball offer. What’s the point of interviewing someone when you know what their current base salary is only to offer them less. Not in this cost of living crisis. (Starting equity is 24k USD over 3 years so 8k USD every year with no cash bonuses). They waisted their time and my time

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had numerous priorities and needed to juggle them. How did you prioritise them?
