The interviewer was super awkward and robotic-like. It was really difficult to feel like I was having a flow of communication with an actual human. He also kept saying they would absolutely not extend the contract after 12 months no matter what?? but the hr lady said that was definitely a possibility if I did a great job and prove to be an asset to the company.

It looks like a traditional interview process for a tech company in the USA. In specific, it seems similar to the interview process at Facebook or Google. The process may start online. Then, there is a phone screen with the recruiter. Afterward, there is a tech assessment (45 min). Finally, final rounds

First, it was a screening with recruiter. Second, the first technical interview was a medium difficulty SQL exercise + probability questions (coin based). Third, final rounds.

Step 1: Basic recruiter screen call asking about your past experiences and what you're looking for. Step 2: Hiring Manager call, nothing technical. Mostly to see if you'd be a good culture fit. Step 3: Technical interview with an engineer in engine of choice. This is not testing your skills in the engine, it's more math. Step 4: Get ghosted?
