I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Sportradar in Aug 2020
Interview
Applied online, recruiter reached out 2 weeks later to schedule a phone screening. Following the phone screening was asked to create an extensive powerpoint presentation outlining the Integrity Services to a potential client. Submitted the assignment and was told a week later that I would have a call with the team lead. Unfortunately COVID hit around then and everything was put on pause, which was understandable.
However, what was not acceptable was being told "I will be sure to keep you in the loop when we open back up and we can pick up where we left off." Great, I thought, and I made sure to stay in touch and maintain interest in the position, and was told they were still on pause regarding hiring. Fine.
To my surprise, I saw the very same posting reposted online despite being told they would keep me in the loop. I reached out the recruiter who apologized, then set up a call with the manager. The call went went and spoke for several hours. But I was irate that I had to reach out to schedule a call when I was told otherwise.
A week later I was told they went with someone else. The whole process just felt like a complete waste of time and energy, not the mention the assignment took a solid 2-3 days to research and work on.
