I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sportradar (Cardiff, Wales) in Dec 2021
Interview
SportRadar has lots of teams/projects, so it would depend on particular project. However, in my case, everything was good. Everyone were friendly. I was interviewed by 2 persons: Tech lead and Project Manager remotely.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly I have been asked about by previous experience with lots of question regarding the technical aspect of my previous projects, like which tech stack I used, what kind of design pattern where applied and etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sportradar (Trondheim) in Jun 2022
Interview
I applied online and got a response in one business day. Informative interview was held already the day after. The interview was mostly a chit-chat about my background and motivation. The interviewer had done their homework well.
After the interview I was handed a coding assignment that was a disappointment. In my opinion, the assignment revolved too much around tooling. Completing the assignment requires installing and configuring an enormous amount of tools and libraries for an app that has about 20 lines of business logic.
After consideration, I decided not to complete the assignment but provided the company feedback on how to improve the assignment, and asked if there's another way for me to demonstrate my skills. Not surprisingly, they didn't want to proceed forward with me.
Overall the interview process was okay. Communication was swift and friendly. The role likely suits people who are excited about technology itself and want to crank out code day in, day out.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Sportradar (Minneapolis, MN) in Nov 2016
Interview
Participated in a couple phone interviews prior to a couple in-person interviews. After the second in-person interview, I was emailed by HR indicating that an offer was on the way. After another week passed, I was informed that the company was unable to hire any candidates before the end of the year. In the new year, I was scheduled for another in-person interview. A couple hours before the final interview, I was informed that this interview needed to be rescheduled. After this exchange and a couple other attempts at communicating, I was never contacted regarding the final interview. This interview process cost me multiple days of vacation at my current company (spanning 4 months). I would not recommend interviewing for a position with this company!
