Was tested on grammar, typing speed, and correct responses to incoming calls. I was left sitting in the front lobby for over 30 minutes. The telephone was ringing non-stop and being ignored by the front desk receptionist. I saw employees milling about and none of them looked happy to be there. When asked back to interview after completing all tests, I was set in a room for another 30 minutes where the same video played over and over on repeat.
When the interviewer finally got to me, she'd ask questions and not even listen to my responses before moving on to the next question. She seemed bored out of her mind and I could tell she hated her job. When asked how long she'd been there, she had not even been at the company a year yet. The receptionist out front had barely been there a year. I asked the interviewer about their benefits package and she didn't even know what they offered, stating she didn't not use their benefits and she didn't have any idea about them.
The whole process was disorganized, chaotic and extremely unprofessional. They were herding candidates in and out like cattle. If this is how they present themselves up front to the public, I can only imagine how bad it is to actually work the floor.
Plus $12/hr is not enough to pay my bills. No thanks.
