The interview process consisted of two technical rounds followed by an HR discussion. The first technical round focused on core concepts related to the role, including problem-solving and coding questions. The second round was more in-depth, covering system design and scenario-based questions. Both interviewers were professional and asked relevant questions. The final HR round was more about discussing my background, expectations, and company culture. Overall, the process was smooth and well-organized.

faster and more efficient results. They were interested in understanding my approach to process optimization, choice of tools or technologies, and how I would identify areas suitable for automation. It was a practical question that reflected their focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Bengaluru) in May 2025

During the HR round, I encountered an unprofessional and rude attitude, which was quite disappointing. Despite being asked about my current and expected CTC, it became clear that they were not willing to offer even a 30% increment. This has been a consistent pattern over the past eight years, where HR teams create an impression that candidates are left with no choice but to accept their terms. Such an approach not only wastes the candidate’s time but also reflects poorly on the company’s hiring process. Considering this experience, I have decided not to pursue opportunities with TCS in the future.
I recently participated in a TCS virtual drive held over the weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was quite negative. While I was initially optimistic about the opportunity, a significant issue with the recruiter completely undermined my confidence and wasted a considerable amount of my time.
