Tech Mahindra Software Engineer interview questions

The interview happened over the phone, the person taking interview seemed knowledgeable about the technology. The interview process overall was seamless. The only issue was as the interview was over the phone there were some background noise because of which I had to request the person to repeat the question few times.

First day there were 2 rounds for basic elimination consisting of Aptitude and English test. After which we had to write an essay on one topic out of 3 topics where they check grammar construction and sentence formation. Then there was an extempore on a topic. Here I was lucky I was asked to say something on any topic of my choice. Next day was background check and interview questions which were not at all technical but general politics or recent trends in technology.
