I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Teradata (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I just got a non technical call with an engineer. He explained me everything about the job and it seemed that he was excited for having me in his team, but he never contacted me again.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teradata (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Slow and process based. HR phone screen, then phone call with hiring manager, face to face with two SE's and one Sales Rep that engaged in a team interview process. Most of the process was emails, little engagement and follow-up from Teradata directly-suspect they use HR contractors.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
mostly culture fit with teaming sales approach, situation based questions "why would you go if", "when have you", "how would you"....they tried to create an "stressful" meeting, to simulate a sales process
