I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teradata (Atlanta, GA) in May 2015
Interview
The interview process was one of the longest I have experienced in my career. Interview consisted of 30/60/90 plan that had to be done within one hour after first interview then I was called back to review. I had many executive level interviews from different divisions of the organization along with questions that pertained to their roles. I was required to put a powerpoint presentation together and present to the hiring manager. Last step was an SVP interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Discuss your knowledge of the data and analytics industry. What are the challenges customers face.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teradata (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2012
Interview
Interviewed with several people in Sales Management as well as a few other Solution Architects. Surprisingly, the interview process was very non-technical. There was more of a focus on sales vs. technical and a strong emphasis on what could be done to provide business value to clients/customer. I think candidates have typically been technical and I got the feeling the company was trying to get give the SA role more of a business focus.
