I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in May 2020
Interview
It was easy and straight forward. Home depot is huge on communication and reached out when they said they would, very organized and the managers I spoke with were wonderful. Awesome Company!

Question 1
How do you handle being on a team with people of different technical levels?
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Oct 2017
Interview
So impersonal, I was stuck at work and in a noisy location...from that point they were very inconsiderate of the fact that I still had another job and were very blunt and rude. Very bad person to be a phone interviewer.

I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Applied at career site and received interviews for two similar roles under a month. At the end of the 2nd call, I concluded the same result for both. Recruiters and hiring managers are not on the same page. Hiring managers want specific skill sets (i.e. working with home depot applications), and recruiters recruit outside applicants that have similar/translatable skill sets but not company experience. Either recruiters need to only recruit internal employees or find applicants with the same "specific" experience or hiring managers need to be open to hire applicants with similar skill set and train the rest to close this gap.
