the interview process was great, I did not feel like I was interrogated they asked me my career goal and why I wanted to work at home depot they called me in a for an interview about three weeks after i applied online. First i had an 1 on 1 interview with a manager, then they asked me to come in the next day for a drug test. Then they called me two days later to come in for an orientation.

The day of my interview there just happen to be a District walk. Where the upper executives come and in and see how the store is looking. Therefore I waited about an hour before my interview. When the hiring manager finally sat with me and reviewed my resume, he told me about The Home Depot cores values. Then asked what do I think about them. He also asked me what kind of person am I. I'm pretty sure he was looking for someone able you talk to people. His finally question was if I knew tools or plants more. I told him tools and instead of hiring me as freight associated he hiredid me as a hardware sales associate which at the time did pay more.
