I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Valdosta, GA) in Jan 2014
Interview
First I applied online for this position then a few days later I was emailed to call for a phone interview. The beginning of the interview was an automated call then it transferred me to a person. I was then asked a few simple questions, and was told that I had a in person interview in two days. The interview questions were very simple and were what all companies ask such as why Home Depot, what would you do in a certain circumstance and what times I could work.

Question 1
There were no difficult questions, the only question the man did not read to me off a list was why I would be better than others for that position.
Applied online. Phone interview, process took about two weeks. They were very unprofessional. They were 30 minutes later than they said they would be. They were eating lunch, so I heard chewing the entire time. There were no behavioral questions: all scenarios. Sent an email a week later saying I didn't get an offer, then they sent another email six weeks later saying again that I didn't get an offer. Luckily, I received a far superior internship elsewhere, so I'm happy.

Question 1
All they asked me about was Java terms. I was in my third week of learning it in school and they asked me all of these scenarios I hadn't learned yet.
